Ever since we opened DESEO on ul. Angorska 27, we started coming to Saska Kępa much more often. Every week we’re here 3 or 4 times and Łukasz usually comes every day. The consequences are easy to guess: that’s where we eat the most often now! We have pizza at OSP Saska Kępa on ul. Walecznych, sometimes have a duck soup at Naam Thai, sometimes we try he neighbouring places such as Kuchnia Funkcjonalna, vegan Think Love Juices and lately sushi too!
What can I say – there are big chances that Soja Sushi becomes our favourite lunch spot on Saska Kępa and beyond! A tiny establishment can be found on ul. Zwycięzców 40. A few tables, a simple yet pleasant interior design – wood, white and light green. Light and fresh.
We popped by in lunch time and decided to test their lunch menu. Lunch sets our available between noon and 4 pm and I have to admit that the prices are really tempting! PLN 24 – 39 for a set. There’s a vegan option too – for PLN 29. I go for a PLN 31 set with miso soup, 6 salmon, cream cheese, avocado and salad futomaki, 6 shrimp, cream cheese, avocado, gourd and salad futomaki and 2 nigiri with browned salmon. No problems with changing raw salmon to a baked one or adding salmon to miso for a small additional price. It’s reaaally tasty! A generous amount of fish, good sides and all served nice. I will have to stop myself since I could eat such lunch every day! 🙂
I returned to Soja Sushi two days later with some of my girlfriends. And once again we got ourselves filled up for lunch… I mainly drank water and nibbled on my friend’s plate but she was close to bursting up anyways! And it was a set for PLN 39! Once again it was tasty, beautiful and filling – raw salmon, baked butterfish and shrimps in tempura!
A great place for lunch!!! And I get the feeling that Soja Sushi will work great on other occasions too!!!
PS. No receipt since I didn’t even plan on writing an entry about the place – with just one picture??? 😉 But today I changed my mind!:)
