Today is a special day 🙂 Maks is turning 5!!! It’s not much, but for a parent it’s always too much. He’s not an infant, he’s not a tot, not even a helpless 2 year old or a beginner prescholler anymore. He’s a 5 years old, pretty “grown-up” little man! 🙂 For us, the last 5 years have been a beautiful time full of adventures, which has shown us and (hopefully) is showing others that a child doesn’t mean staying home and sacrificing your passions. Time when we realized that passions can be shared, and what’s more, you can give them to your child. Time of a lot of great travels – I must admit that a child makes them extremely exhausting sometimes, but most of them are even more beautiful and full of new adventures, thanks to a child 🙂
That is why for his 5th birthday I decided to make a little summary!:) Of places we’ve seen with Maks. To some of these places we’ve been for a very short amount of time, others we have visited many times, but all of them made it to our 5 years old traveller’s list! 🙂 There’s Hong Kong and Makau on the list as well, People’s Republic of China’s special administrative regions and Basque Country – I know, I know this IS NOT A COUNTRY, but if you spend there 6 months and write two master’s dissertations about Basques trying to get their independence, you look at things differently 😉

Now what? Who else is going to tell me there’s no way to do that? That you can’t travel with a child? That your kid would be unhappy while travelling? Happy kid, happy parents 🙂
