We heard about tiny Ciao a Tutti on the corner of ul. Wawelska and Niepodległości a while ago. Reportedly it’s a small place with pizza which can easily compete in the run for best pizza in Warsaw. And so I passed Ciao a Tutti on numerous occasions walking from home to city centre, watching it from the car but never having time to actually stop by for lunch or dinner.
Because it’s not a place you visit accidentally walking around the area. Do you ever walk aleje Niepodległości or crowded ul. Wawelska? I don’t. But Ciao a Tutti surely is worth a visit. For instance for lunch after a walk on Mokotów Fields or for an early dinner after work if you’re not in a hurry. Or for lunch like we did lately.
The task wasn’t that easy though. We needed a place for a tasty lunch, suitable for a pregnant friend and near The National Library. Not the best place to look for food. I only could think of shady student bars which I was not willing to visit at all. Then I went through Google maps and bingo! I’ll finally get to try the pizza in Ciao a Tutti! Even better – my friend wanted to go there too! Bullseye!

Italian vibe
The menu atCiao a Tutti includes pizza, pizza and some more pizza! It’s not a place for pasta, main courses and tonnes of starters. There’s pizza. Only 3 salads for the start or Italian cold cuts and cheese. Pizza is the king here! However we pay a visit to Ciao a Tutti when there’s 35 degrees outside and the asphalt is melting. How can you eat a whole pizza in such weather?? It’s a tough job on a hot day even if you’re sitting next to the fan. We decide to start with the salads and then move to one pizza for two. Just to try it. We have to, right? 🙂
We go for 2 salads out of three available: frutti della terra (rucola, pear, walnuts parmesan and dressing) – PLN 18 and zucchino – courgette, cherry tomatoes, ricotta, parmesan, walnuts, pine nuts and homemade ciabatta – PLN 18.

Salads are great. Especially mine made from thin slices of courgette. I expected a classic salad made from rucola or salad with a few slices of courgette, but this is something completely different. Delicate but also filling. Ricotta and parmesan taste exactly like Italy. Plenty of cherry tomatoes and walnuts. Ciabatta is soft and fresh, makes you wanna eat it whole dipped in olive oil. Perfect! The nly thing that’s worrying me is the fact that the salad is really filling and there’s still pizza coming!
However, when we get our pizza, my hunger is magically restored. You just can’t say no to such a pizza. We take half salsiccia e spinachi with Italian sausage and spinach and half quatro stagioni (tomato sauce, mozzarella, ham, mushrooms, olives and onion). Pizzas in Ciao a Tutti cost between PLN 16 and 28. There’s 31 to choose, all with plenty of toppings as you can see in the picture below. The dough is perfectly Italian, the sauce is tasty and the ingredients are of high quality. Makes me feel like I’m in Naples or Positano…

If you’re feeling like eating a genuine Italian pizza, Ciao a Tutti is a perfect choice. A no-brainer! Cosy an intimate place with charming white and red tablecloths, nice service and real pizza.
PS. Just don’t ask for extra tomato sauce! Italians don’t serve it so you won’t find it in Ciao a Tutti either 😉
PS2. I got carried away and didn’t take a picture of the receipt but we paid PLN 65 for two salads, pizza and water 🙂
