You ask us a lot of questions like: where to go with friends if you want everyone to like the food, if you want a lot of space, good wine etc.?<\/strong> Here are a few of our pieces of advice and one great way to make outings with friends even more fun!;)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Planning an outing with friends, especially in a big group, you should consider a few things:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n If you want to make everyone happy, forget about cuisines that make people feel extreme emotions. You know the best what cuisine your friends like. You know with whom you could eat Thai, Chinese or Indian food and who prefers dumplings of chicken fillets. If you don’t know everyone’s tastes, Italian cuisine will always do. I’m sure everyone will pick something!<\/p>\n Think about vegans and people who eat gluten-free food if you know any! There will be no problem with\u00a0finding a place with vege food different than a salad with tomatoes if you’re in a big city.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n If you’re planning on having an evening out with people who don’t drink alcohol (for example pregnant and breastfeeding women), stop thinking in terms of “cheap beer \/ wine \/ vodka”. Seriously, it’s not cool to sit at the table, drink water, eat unpalatable snacks and watch other drink their 5th beer.<\/p>\n Same goes for children: if you want to go out with your friends and their children, ask them if they wouldn’t prefer a place with a corner for kids. Don’t make them go to a restaurant where kids aren’t welcome and have nothing to do. It’s not you who is going to be chasing them around the restaurant. You don’t like child-friendly places? Well, you need to sacrifice or wait until your friends hire a babysitter.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n If you go out with somebody pretty often, you usually know how much money they can spend. If you don’t, you should offer them some place for everyone to check everything out. If you do that, there will be no disappointments about the prices and portions. Always think of nice places with delicious food and prices that will satisfy everybody – this is when you know nobody will regret going out with you.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Oh yeah – the bill!<\/strong> When we go out in a big group, there are always big complications when it comes to paying. It starts with millions of questions: “So what do we do? Does everyone pay their part? Do we split it\u00a0in half? Maybe I’ll pay and you will give the money back to me? Or maybe you could pay and I will pay for you next time we see each other?” When you are with a big company, each option seems too complicated..<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Let’s share the bill!<\/strong> .. Seems like the easiest option, but soon you will find out that half of your group don’t have cash, and the other half doesn’t have any change. Everybody is trying to count how much they need to pay, which gets especially difficult when you’re a family or, even worse, when everybody drank a few beers… and doesn’t remember how many exactly. In the worst case scenario your waiter ends up looking down at you because you didn’t pay enough and part of your group has already left and you have to pay more, even though you don’t know why and for whom.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Let’s split\u00a0the bill in half \/ let’s split\u00a0the bill evenly!…<\/strong> great solution that we use pretty often when we go out with friends with similar tastes, appetite and the same amount of children \ud83d\ude09 . Perfect solution for when we eat from one plate, drink one bottle of wine and chose our dishes together. This is when splitting\u00a0the bill in half and paying with your card is a good idea.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n “I’ll pay next time!”<\/strong> – we all know it only works when you have a similar financial status, a similar stomach size and you hang out very often and you won’t wait for “the next time” for years. The worst option? No reciprocity – you pay 600 zlotys for a huge dinner with wine, and someone invites you to a quick lunch.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n “I’ll transfer the money to you!”<\/strong> – good solution because it stops you from having long discussions in restaurants, but it’s pretty tiring. You need to take the bill with you, count, ask your friend for the number of their bank account, make a transfer. You also have to remember to do it on the next day to not look like someone who’s trying to get away with not paying. It works with close friends (especially when you do it often and have their bank account number), but when it comes to other people, it’s too big of a problem.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n So? There’s no good solution? I’ll tell you something – there is \ud83d\ude42 Perfect solution we’re testing right now. Have you ever heard of DiPocket<\/a><\/strong> app?<\/p>\n <\/p>\n DiPocket<\/strong> is a new idea that comes in handy to those managing their personal finances and makes splitting bills, paying for dinner, outings or vacation with friends way easier. It’s simple to use. I admit I was a little afraid of it because I’ll be honest with you – when it comes to bank and financial things, I’m not good at it. I don’t use mobile apps, I don’t do advances transactions – just regular transfers online. DiPocket gets you through every step you need to take to use it and everything becomes clear – even for people like me who don’t know anything about finances \ud83d\ude42<\/strong> I signed up while sitting at a restaurant by the beach, eating fabulous pistachio tiramisu and it took a few minutes.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n After writing down your personal data, taking 2 selfies (with a smile on your face or not :)), putting in your PIN and choosing a secret question, you need to attach your account number, scan your ID and you can use the app. We started by testing quick transfers between its users. DiPocket can solve the problem: What do we do with the bill?<\/strong> You just need to choose the option “CHARGE THE MONEY FACE-to-FACE”, type in the amount of money and you will get an QR code that the other person needs to scan and you get the money automatically. Without typing in any data, account numbers, waiting for the money.<\/strong> I have to say I didn’t believe it was this easy until \u0141ukasz proved it to me \ud83d\ude42 Now I am amazed! Two people need DiPocket and transfers are not problems anymore and money appears on your account immediately.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The app works great when it comes to saving money for a present or advance payment for a group vacation. It’s easier than making regular transfers. You organize an event, add your friends – users of DiPocket – and you send them “a bill”. That’s it!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The app has a lot of options for those who travel a lot as well. Which means it’s perfect for people like us \ud83d\ude42<\/strong> You can exchange the currencies (zlotys, euros, pounds, francs and dollars) for free (promotion stops at the end of September!) or it doesn’t cost you much – only 0,5%. Exchaning currencies in a lot of banks can reach even 6% of your bill! But we will write about it in our next post.
