We reached Villa late in the evening on Friday, after a long trip and a dinner at G\u00f3ralska Tradycja<\/a>. And we were gone in seconds… The place impresses you as soon as you enter: plenty of bright wood, well-thought-of details, highland decorations presented in a modern way. A place where you get the feeling that somebody gave it a lot of thought and nothing is accidental: old skis on the walls, pieces of wood decorating the walls and being part of the reception, old posters reminding us of the ski past of Zakopane.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n After first wows caused by the clever interior design, we went to see the room. Plenty of wood again, some whites and some greys and again, highland style at its best. Charming, classy and high-level. Style I’d be happy to decorate my bedroom in. Not in Zakopane or Podhale. The rooms are simple, yet well-thought-of. There’s a spacious wardrobe suitable for anyone who’s staying longer which we often missed in hotel rooms. There’s also a small fridge which I can use if I buy fruits or a yoghurt for Maks. Another piece of equipment that’s often missing in guesthouses. I often had to put yoghurts and milk outside the window which usually ended with the temperature being too high or too low. Fortunately, they thought about that too in Villa! No problems with an extra child’s bed either. Tested that too \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n There’s 13 rooms in Villa 11. A nice and intimate place without crowds. A bit away from the most crowded streets of Zakopane but close enough to quickly go and have lunch or a late dinner. Close enough to go for a walk somewhere near Jaszczur\u00f3wka or the valleys, quite close to Nosal or Kasprowy Wierch if you’re coming in the winter and want to go skiing. The only thing that’s missing is some extra facilities around the place. There’s a lawn and a small parking lot but I would add something for the kids… a swing, a sandbox or something else a family with a little one will appreciate. \ud83d\ude42 Fortunately Maks quickly noticed that there’s a kids’ corner inside, downstairs, right next to the breakfast hall. A modest one so far, but Maks still loved plush vegetables, buns, fish and muffins which he could fed to his ‘pussycat’ \ud83d\ude42 They said that the kids’ corner will be expanded and fitted with more toys in the future. Well, Villa only opened in July.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n We eat the breakfast in a small hall downstairs. No photos here since we woke up late and didn’t think about the camera and the pictures \ud83d\ude42 Believe us, there’s plenty to choose from. A smorgasbord with some extra scrambled eggs, wieners, omelette and toasts. Scrambled eggs with ham were delicious! I loved Villa on Saturday when they served a plate with hot oscypek and cranberry sauce for every table – that’s what Zakopane tastes like!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Next to the breakfast hall and the kids’ corner, you will also find a sauna and a chill out zone. Once again beautifully dsigned! Highland yet modern and classy!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Pi\u0119knie, prawda? \ud83d\ude42 Takich miejsc stale szukamy i stale nas zachwycaj\u0105! A je\u015bli tutaj dodamy jeszcze poranki z widokiem na g\u00f3ry, to mamy miejsce idealne na relaks na Podhalu! \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n <\/p>\n We will be back for sure! \ud83d\ude42 Seems to me that in winter it will be even more magical!!!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n PS. How about the prices?? Here you are: in season it’s PLN 260-290 for a double room including breakfast. You chooses from a standard one with abalcony and a mountain view or economy which lacks a balcony and is a bit smaller. \nBeautiful, isn’t it? \ud83d\ude42 We keep looking for such places and they still amaze us! But we still get the feeling that there’s not enough of them..
